The Children's Music Centre was set up in May 2000 by Karen Jones (Diploma Teaching, New Zealand) with two aims:

To promote the education of children’s music with a particular emphasis on creating music

To promote Scottish Traditional Music in Edinburgh

The Centre provides three types of music classes for children aged 5-13 years.

Individual tuition in Keyboard and guitar

Bound into Sound (after school group classes)

Guitar Club (group classes)
